Royal Australian Navy Saved
$11 Million In 18 Months
The Royal Australian Navy, Fleet Support Unit (FSU) was sponsored to undergo a major transformation. A Navy review recommended that the Navy take back ownership of the maintenance of its fleet, which had become reliant upon external contractors.
Due to the previous focus of the organisation, the people in this unit weren’t being utilised to anywhere near their full potential, and it was costing Navy millions of dollars in contractors fees.
